Somalia
Hunger is very serious in Somalia. It is said to be "the most sever humanitarian crisis in the world today." It has effected 3.7 million people from 2010-2012. Out of all the people who have died, most of them have been children. It has taken the lives of tens of thousands Somalians. Somalia was extremely impacted by the drought in 2011, affecting 13 million people in Africa. It was declared to be finished in 2012, but Somalia has the highest rates of starving children and malnutrition. "While conditions in Somalia have improved in recent months, the country still has one of the highest rates of child malnutrition and infant mortality in the world," said a gentlemen from Save the Children.

The drought in the horn of Africa has caused great crisis for 13.3 million people in Kenya, Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Somalia over the past year.
Drought in West Africa started in 2011 and has prevented crops to be ready for harvest. It was threatening to kill nearly 23 million people.
Currently, the food level in Ethiopia is very low, and is threatening to fall into famine.
